WELCOME to our ERASMUS+ « TWAS » project BLOG « The BLUE STREAM »
--------an introductory word from the Coordinator of the project---------
« Bonjour ! Ahoj ! Hello !
My name is Francis and I am a male English teacher at the French vocational school of Jean Monnet in the little city of Vic-Bigorre in the souh west of France by the Pyrenees mountains. I am very happy and proud to lead the TWAS project which will involve about 100 students from our 3 partner schools.
TWAS stands for « Thermal Waters and Spas » and the schools of CLA Trutnov in the Czech Republic and Liptovsky Hradok in Slovakia have joined us to make this environmental project alive.
We got together because of long term relationships in the fields of international cooperation and mainly forestry studies. Today our wish is to tighten our links and keep the European spirit alive and strong.
Our vocational students study for the same Level4 diplomas and will use English to communicate and share the numerous activities planned for this two-year European venture. In all 3 schools the aim is to include as many staff members as possible to carry out the actions centered around the theme of thermal waters.
Going regularly to this blog will allow you to discover the various moments in the life of this project and follow the different visits made by the participating teams of students. Their investigaions will be reported here and will gradually feed the project Blog. Following the pre-established guiding lines and goals of TWAS, visitors to this Blog will realize how diversified and important thermal waters can be in our European lands and how interesting it can be to study them.
So, welcome to our world of European cooperation ! Please enter « TWAS » !
