THERMAL SPA - VELKÉ LOSINY

Hello everybody,

we would like to inform you about a part of our plan for Mobility Tool’s programme. We went to a spa in Jeseniky called Velké Losiny on 24th January 2017. This is the spectacular and large spa. We had a meeting with the director of the spa Mr. Kopic. He explained us all important things related to our project. You should really look forward to this event. Despite we are not a country full of luxury spas, this spa will surprise you. There are procedures targeted at a treatment of the various diseases (starting with skin problems and ending with paralysis) and postoperative rehabilitation by thermal springs with sulfur content. The spa was founded at the second half of 19th century. During the 1st World War it was a military hospital. On 30th of January 1930 there was a fire that destroyed a main spa building, a hall, a restaurant, a pool and a spa´s chapel. After that the spa was rebuilt and it was reopened in May 1931. There are the several things saved, for example a section for small children reminds of an original and historical shape – we were surprised .

We are not going to disclose more to have an extra surprise for you. We will let you know about a new progress of the project .
