SPA VELICHOVKY

A few days ago (on February 22, 2017) we visited a spa Velichovky. They are situated in a quiet village called Velichovky. The spa were opened in the 19th. century, exactly in 1897. The area is very beautiful and newly renovated. Patients can visit a local cinema, a park, a shop, a library, a cozy café and others.

Its specialization is the rehabilitation of patients with locomotor system and nerve system diseases.

They use the healing effects of the local extremely high-quality peat. This type of soil contains calcium carbonate and iron – and that’s really helpful. The spa Velichovky applies this type of soil directly on the patient’s body (wraps and baths). It helps especially to patients after operation of joints or after some injury.

The atmosphere here is very quiet and friendly!
